Sunseeker Cruiser Day
Sunseeker power cruisers are used for an adrenaline pumping day on the water.
Your day starts at the Quayside at the Yellow Welly for coffee/tea and event briefing by the event team and the Sunseeker Skippers. We then move onto the boats where you will be met on board by the Skipper for the initial safety briefing and kitting out before setting off.
The morning trip involves a gentle motor out into Poole Bay where the real fun begins. Our experienced skippers will interact with bow wave riding and carrying out ‘head to head’ exploits, guaranteed to thrill plus a buoy clue trail around the area where the teams driving and navigation skills are tested! Cryptic clues provide the location of the buoys and the crew members have to drive and navigate their way to the buoys as accurately as they can. Points are awarded by the Skippers.
The boats will cruise across to Cowes, Isle of Wight, and moor allowing time for the crew to go ashore for shopping and sight seeing. (Lunch can be arranged at the famous Red Duster restaurant if required).
It’s then a cruise back to Shamrock Quay with more boat interaction and high speed turns and wave bouncing!
Typical programme;
- 10.00: Meet at Yellow Welly at Shamrock Quay
- 10.30: Move off with the Skippers to the Boats
- 10.45: Cruise out into Solent and then across to Cowes
- 12.00: Moor at Cowes for sight seeing and shopping
- 14.00: Back on board boats to cruise around Solent
- 16.00: Arrive back at Shamrock Quay
- Refreshments on board throughout
